Friendly warm up match

To prepare for the hunt and being better in finding the footballs Paco, Manuel, Marcuz and me decided to work on our football skills. So we met in the park and worked a bit on running the ball.
I thought that would be enough but the guys wanted more. And forced me to play football with them.
So Manuel and i formed the team decent long trousers.
Our competitiors Marcuz and Paco formed the team sexy hot shorts and had the need to brag about their strength. Manuel and I tried our best to stare them down. But they simply looked away.
Then we started playing.
And Marcuz managed to goal.
Paco was the only one who did not wear decent football shoes but he was quite good with the ball.
We started trying to get the ball into the goal again.
But Team sexy hot shorts got disqualified because Paco started to distract Manuel and Marcuz used this to goal again.
Manuel and I have been a bit sad about our missing abilities but we suppose that we won as the others got disqualified.
But somehow we still liked each other after finishing the match.
We spend about i would say two hours to make the pictures for that. If anybody wants to see more of them. Have a look at Manuel's flickr site.

Two Walkthrough within 24 Hours :-)

Organizing a hunt can be really stressful. Thank god we can rely on good friends who help us out a bit when things go crazy (like full perm soccerballs that refuse to modify - sorry for this insider ^^). So our Go4Goal-Referee Marcuz Palen did the Walkthru with us not one but many times again and all over again - back and forth. As you can certainly tell - this guy knows now every shop in the hunt by every pixelbrick ;-) So this one is to salute the swedish troublesolver! Without his help we would not have come that far :-)

Applications closed

Yeah ... it is time .. just a few days before the soccer teams will start kicking in Southafrica for the Worldcup.
And we close the application process and start building the huntchain.
We'll send out all necessary stuff to the vendors these days ... So please, if you don't recieve a package from us, or just to send a hint or a picture of your huntitem - feel free to contact Manuel Ormidale (manuel.ormidale@googlemail.com) inworld.

Clock's ticking ...

Hello all,

to those who have filled an application for the hunt ... THANK YOU, you're great! To all others .. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR ? We're allready at the 66 mark right now, and as the soccer teams prepare to go to South-Africa, we're going to warm up as well. And you won't miss it, would you? But the only way to get part of it is to send your application for the Go4Goal Hunt 'til June 1st in world to Paco Pooley or Manuel Ormidale.

You've lost the application, no prob, on the right side you find it in written letters, just copy and paste it to a notecard, fill it out and send it to us.

So the clock is ticking ...

The Go4Goal Hunt (G4GH) – a hunt dedicated to the soccer championships in South Africa 2010

Greetings,

Welcome to the G4GH webpage. Right now we are right in the application process but we are really glad and proud to have such a great amount of high quality shops already in the hunt. So – this one will become really, really great :-)
We – this is Paco Pooley (the guy with the glasses) and Manuel Ormidale (the guy without the glasses ;-) ). We run a little shop called 22769 casual couture and we just do love hunts. That’s why we came up with the idea to do something to accompany the soccer championships 2010, cause nobody else did.

So what can you expect from the hunt?
The themes of the hunt are of course sport, especially soccer obviously, and on the other hand South Africa. So you will find gifts like casual sportswear, tricots, animations and gestures, but also some traditional South African wear, nice african furniture and many fun stuff.
Also we are very proud that we have already some shops confirmed in the hunt that are rather new or have never before attended a hunt, but still provide high quality items. So there are many new places to explore :-) You can have a sneek when you hit the SURLs of the so far confirmed stores in the right coloum.
Oh – and you have to look for an oldfashiones soccerball.

The hunt will be circular – so you can start at any shop that has the huntsign out. We will also found a hunters group where you can share hints and stuff. The hunters group will be addicted to sports in general since we plan to make some other sports related hunts also.

And here is the Timeline:
Now – 1st June:
Collecting Applications, confirming Stores
Publishing the participation Stores with SURLs on this website
1st June – 10th June:
Sendout of the new huntsigns (excluding the application form and including the hint-notecard)
Publishing the hints on this webpage
Publishing the provided pictures of the hunt gifts
Sendout of the Huntbox with the next Landmark and all scripts in
9th June:
Walkthrough and fixing problems
11th June – 11th July:
The hunt is up and running – yayy!

So – if you are a store owner and like to be part of the soccer-team – you can find the application form below. Just copy and paste it in a notecard and send it to Paco Pooley or Manuel Ormidale inworld. We will come back to you asap :-)
